Hi, liked the interview in The Skinny. The interviewer seemed intelligent and also knowledgeable about LB’s writing. One question: he mentions that there were two previous adaptations of LB’s books. I remember the film of 8,000,000 Ways… (though not often, thank G_d). What was the other one, and was it any better than Scudder Goes To An AA Meeting On The Beach In LA (which they *do* have there)? Thanks.

The other one was Nightmare Honeymoon, based on the novel Deadly Honeymoon. Starred Dack Rambo and Rebecca Diana Smith (What? You don’t remember her?) and was directed by Elliot Silverstein. A truly awful picture.
